THE FIRM
ANOC Professional Services

The Firm’s name changed from Alatta Nzewi Oyeka & Co. to ANOC Professional Services in 2020. Alatta Nzewi Oyeka & Co. evolved in 2010 from the merger of two firms; Messrs. Alatta, Nzewi & Co. and Messrs. Nnamdi Oyeka & Co.
Nnamdi Oyeka & Co. was registered in 1980 and commenced business in 1983 while Alatta, Nzewi & Co. was registered in 1985 and commenced business the same year.
The essence of the merger was to enable the firms pool resources together in order to ensure wider client coverage and greater efficiency in service delivery. Over the years, the firms have grown tremendously in all spheres of professional practice thereby justifying the wisdom in the merger and fulfilling the vision of the founding partners of the firm.
ANOC Professional Services, has been admitted into the membership of Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants & Lawyers (IGAL). IGAL’s purpose is to generate business opportunities for its members and their clients. Through IGAL, our firm has been acknowledged around the world by like-minded and like sized professionals as a respected affiliate offering quality client services with a reasonable fee structure.
We bring to our clients pro-active, innovative advice and planning based firmly on professional and technical skills. Our aim is to assist clients in the growth and development of their business and to enhance their wealth, both as corporate organizations and as individuals.

Several of our people have spent part of their careers in commerce, and have experienced the problems at the “sharp end”. - Finance Director of Gicen Technical Services Limited before setting up his practice Nnamdi Oyeka & Co (Chartered Accountants) in 1983.
- He has over 30 years post qualification experience.
- He has been auditor to numerous private and public companies.
- He was before the merger, the Managing Partner of Nnamdi Oyeka & Co.
- He is a member of Ikoyi Club 1938.

- Trained at Peat Marwick Ani, Ogunde & Co. now KPMG (Chartered Accountants).
- He has over 30 years post qualification experience.
- He is a member of Ikoyi Club 1938.
HRH Eze Ndubuisi N. Alatta

- A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
- A Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT).
- Educated at Kings College, Lagos and the London School of Accountancy.
- Trained at Peat Marwick Ani, Ogunde & Co now KPMG (Chartered Accountants).
- He was also for many years the Finance Director of Whessoe Engineering Limited – an Oil Servicing Company.
- He has over 30 years post qualification experience.
- A keen golf and squash racket player.
Mr. Raphael Umezuruike Okoroha

- A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
- A Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT).
- He worked initially with Ben Holdings Nigeria Limited before joining Nnamdi Oyeka & Co. in 1990.
- He subsequently rose to a Partner in 2003.
- A member of The Apapa Club.
- Honorary member of AHQ Command Officers Mess.
- He plays tennis and enjoys watching football.
Mr. Godwin Chukwuma Anyadiegwu

- A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).
- A Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT).
- HND in Accountancy from the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos in 1980.
- Trained at Arthur Young, Osindero & Co. now Ernst & Young (Chartered Accountants), from 1976 to 1986.
- Led many major audit jobs including Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Plc, the Spibat/JLGT Joint Venture with the Nigeria Navy (at the Naval Dockyard), Mandilas Group, etc.
- He also carried out various consultancy services with the NNPC/PPMC.
- He was the Group Chief Accountant of Ugochukwu & Sons Limited (The Group).
- General Manager of Ebice Group of Companies before joining Alatta, Nzewi & Co. as Manager in 1998.
- He also attended various international and local working seminars.
- He enjoys reading, playing table tennis and billiard.
Mr. Ibe Onwurah is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, (FCA) and also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI). He had his audit training and experience at Peat Marwick Ani Ogunde & Co. now KPMG (Chartered Accountants).
He was also an Audit Manager in Unuigbe, Akintola & Co. (Chartered Accountants) before joining Anoc Professional Services. He has over 25 years post qualification experience and enjoys playing table and lawn tennis.

Mr. John Ndibe Okpala

- Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
- HND in Accountancy from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu in 1985.
- B.Sc. in Accounting from Columbus International University, Norton– England.
- MBA degree in Banking & Finance from Imo State University, Owerri.
- A Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
- Holds Certificate in International Financial Reporting, CertIFR
- Trained with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price WaterhouseCoopers) and Ernst & Young International (firms of Chartered Accountants) before joining the banking industry.
- He rose to a Senior Manager and Regional Controller East) in Universal Trust Bank Plc (now merged with Union Bank) before leaving to embark on Accountancy Practice and Financial/Management Consultancy.
- He worked briefly with A–Z Petroleum Products Limited where he restructured the Finance & Accounts Department.
- He has over 25years experience (as a Chartered Accountant) across various industries with core experience in Accounting, Control & Compliance, Investigations, Bank Credit, Risk Management, Operations, Corporate Restructuring and Turnaround, Business Relationship Management, etc.
- He joined the firm as a Consultant in-charge of Tax and Consulting Unit.
In addition to the Five (5) Partners and one (1) Financial/Management Consultant, the Firm has Seventeen (17) qualified Accountants/tax Practitioners and over Twenty members of Staff experienced in accounting, auditing, tax and consultancy services.
